Energy MF is a dry rumen inert fat supplement containing 85 percent palmitic acid (C16:0) that can easily be included in grain or mineral mixes, total mixed ration (TMR) or top dressed.
Fat is included in ruminant rations for its high energy density, allowing for flexibility in the formulation. This increase in energy intake supports weight gain and improved reproductive performance.
Rumen inert fats (commonly called bypass fats) remain solid in the rumen without impacting the microbial population and are broken down later in the digestion process.
